In 2014, Nick was awarded the Honouree Award for the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World – Global winner in Germany and Honouree Award for Cultural Achievement in Singapore.
Besides dedicating his time to arts and culture, Nick too actively volunteers for various charities included Lao Sai Tao Yuan Teochew Opera Troupe whereby it will be the beneficiary for the video he produced here.
He is the troupe leader of the oldest 157-year-old Teochew opera troupe Lao Sai Tao Yuan in Singapore.
